Food at Scotiabank Saddledome

The main concourse serves familiar game-day food such as hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, pizza, burgers, ice cream, and soft drinks. Other choices include rotisserie chicken, tacos, craft nachos, salads and sandwiches at Market 213, and vegan or vegetarian meals at Madam Tiger.

Restaurants and bars inside the arena

The Saddleroom Grill is on the east Terrace Level and serves a chef’s tasting menu before Flames home games. It opens two hours before puck drop, and reservations are recommended. Other arena dining spaces include the TELUS Club dining room, Alumni Lounge, Ultra Club, Molson Hockey House, and Sportsnet Platinum Club. Access, reservations, and opening schedules differ by space, so check the requirements before the event.

Food near Scotiabank Saddledome

For an adult pre- or post-event option, Melrose is inside Cowboys Casino at 421 12 Avenue SE, about a five-minute walk from the Saddledome. It is an 18-plus venue serving shareable plates, burgers, bowls, salads, and vegan choices.

Maisie Eatery is a daytime option in the Sam Centre on the Stampede campus at 632 13 Avenue SE. It serves breakfast, lunch, coffee, baked goods, and changing daily offerings. Its regular hours end before many evening events, so check the schedule before relying on it for game-day dining.

Outside food and dietary accommodations

Outside food and beverages are generally prohibited. The venue says guests with food allergies or medical conditions that require specific food or drink may be granted an exception after contacting Customer Service in advance at 403-777-4646, option 1, or customerservice@calgaryflames.com.

A concession allergen chart identifies vegetarian and gluten-friendly choices. There are no nut-free areas, and deep-fried foods can be exposed to cross-contact. Guests with serious allergies should review the allergen guide and speak with venue staff rather than relying only on menu labels.

Alcohol and payment

Beer, wine, and cocktails are available from multiple listed concourse stands and arena bars. Alberta’s legal drinking age is 18, and the venue may request identification. The Saddledome states that it will sell no more than two alcoholic drinks to one patron at a time, may reduce that limit, and ends concourse alcohol service at least one hour before the scheduled end of an event.

The arena is cashless. Concessions accept debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Saddledome gift cards; cash cannot be exchanged for a gift card on game day.
