Enterprise Center, home of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues, opened in October 1994. Enterprise Holdings purchased the naming rights in 2018. The building opened as Kiel Center, became Savvis Center in 2000 and Scottrade Center in 2006, then took its present name. The Blues are its primary professional tenant, and many regional and national college events have also been held there, including college hockey’s Frozen Four.

In 1967 the NHL doubled in size from six teams to 12, and St. Louis was one of the cities awarded a franchise as part of that expansion.  The Blues play in the Central Division of the NHL’s Western Conference and are rivals with the Chicago Blackhawks, who play in the same division. The Blues have been successful from the start, appearing in the playoffs more than any team outside of the NHL’s original six.  In 2019, the Blues won their first Stanley Cup beating the Boston Bruins in an exciting seven-game series.

The Blues have maintained an old-school tradition for their games in the form of live organ music, which was once played at most arenas.  Blues fans also like to insert, “Home of the Blues,” when the National Anthem is played before games.   

How many seats are in Enterprise Center?

Enterprise Center holds just over 18,000 fans for Blues games. Seats are generally divided between the Plaza Level in sections 101-126 and the Mezzanine Level in sections 301-334, with suites and club areas between and around them.

Directions – How to get to Enterprise Center

Enterprise Center is at 1401 Clark Avenue in downtown St. Louis, between 14th and 16th streets. Drivers can approach from I-64/Highway 40, I-55, I-44, or I-70. MetroLink riders should use Civic Center Station at 14th and Spruce, within sight of the arena. The Civic Center MetroBus transfer center is one block away.

Where to Park near Enterprise Center?

About 6,500 parking spaces are available within 1,800 feet of the arena, including a 1,270-car garage next to the building. Other garages, surface lots, and metered street spaces are nearby. Event parking can be reserved in advance, and short-term box-office parking is available on Clark Avenue.
