Honda Center, home of the Anaheim Ducks, opened on June 19, 1993, after approximately two and a half years of construction. It was first called Anaheim Arena, became Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim in October 1993, and took the Honda Center name in 2006. The arena has been the Ducks’ home ice since the franchise’s first season.
The Walt Disney Company founded the team as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, taking the name from the 1992 film. The franchise was sold and shortened its name before the 2006-07 season, when the Ducks won their first Stanley Cup. They have developed rivalries with the nearby Los Angeles Kings and the San Jose Sharks.

Directions – How to get to Honda Center
Honda Center is at 2695 East Katella Avenue in Anaheim, close to State Route 57 and Interstate 5. The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center, known as ARTIC, is across the street and serves Amtrak, Metrolink, and bus passengers. Rideshare pickup and drop-off is also at ARTIC.
Where to Park near Honda Center?
General parking is included for events in the on-site Katella and Cerritos garages; there is no separate general-parking pass. Lots generally open three hours before an event. Honda Center recommends arriving at least 60 minutes early and checking its latest maps because OCVIBE construction continues to change traffic patterns. Douglass Road at Katella Avenue is permanently closed.
Honda Center Encore renovation
Honda Center Encore is a full-venue renovation scheduled to continue through 2027. Concession stands, bars, restaurants, restrooms, and premium spaces are opening and closing in phases. Check the event page and current arena map before a visit rather than relying on an older route or stand location.

What is the bag policy for Ducks games?
Bags and purses may be no larger than 4 by 6 by 1.5 inches at Ducks games, including clear bags. Backpacks are prohibited. Medical and diaper bags up to 12 by 12 by 12 inches are allowed after additional screening, and the arena does not provide bag storage.
Is Honda Center cashless?
Yes. Parking, concessions, restaurants, retail, and the box office accept major cards and mobile payments. Cash-to-card machines are available near sections 201 and 401.
Can you re-enter Honda Center?
No. Once a ticket has been scanned and a guest leaves, the same ticket cannot be used to return. Speak with Security or Guest Services if there is an emergency.
Who owns Honda Center?
The City of Anaheim owns Honda Center, and Anaheim Arena Management operates it.
